The Berlin Police Department has made two arrests in connection with the recent burglaries that have been occurring in the Town of Berlin.
On Friday, September 16, 2011, Angela Cianfaglione, Age 41, of 58 Ward Place, Hartford, Connecticut, was arrested for the crimes of Burglary in the 3rd Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary 3rd, Larceny in the 4th Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 4th, Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree and Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Mischief 3rd. Cianfaglione was released after posting a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in New Britain Superior Court on September 29, 2011.
On Thursday, September 22, 2011, Philip Earl Rowe, Age 43, also of 58 Ward Place, Hartford was arrested for the crimes of Burglary in the 3rd Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary 3rd, Larceny in the 4th Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 4th, Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree and Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Mischief 3rd. Rowe was held on a $75,000 bond and will be presented in New Britain Superior Court on September 23, 2011.

These two arrests are in connection with a burglary that occurred on Orchard Road on August 6, 2011
They are the result of a collaboration of the investigative efforts by members of the Police Department and from information garnered through members of the Berlin community.

This investigation was one of several currently being conducted regarding the burglaries and larcenies that had plagued the area during the months of July and August. Additional arrests related to several of these crimes are expected.
