The Citizen’s Campaign for the Environment will be conducting a home to home canvass of the Town from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning the week of December 1.
They will be disseminating information, petitions and accepting contributions for their cause.
Since they are not selling anything, they do not require a permit under the Town ordinance.
There is no law prohibiting their activities.
The canvassers will have photo ID, a letter stating that we know about their activities, and a copy of their registration with the State Charities Bureau.
Berlin Police Dept. Dispatch has a list of their personnel and vehicles in the event that we receive complaints.
