Berlin Police Looking for Suspect in Saturday Mobil Station Robbery

Police are seeking information on the suspected robber and his vehicle.

Berlin police are asking the public for help identifying a suspect in the armed robbery of the Mobil station on Chamberlain Highway Saturday night.

According to police, a masked man entered the gas station around 7:45 p.m. Saturday, carrying a yellow reusable bag and a weapon. (Police have not identified the one of weapon.) The suspect fled the scene and left the getaway vehicle behind the storefronts in the Rogers Market plaza.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and brown mask over his face.

Police are looking for witnesses or any persons with information on the robbery or the car to contact them at 860-828-7080.
