To avoid any undue alarm, the Berlin High School administration would like to inform the community of Berlin that Police training exercises will be conducted at Berlin High School while school is not in session on the following dates: Sunday, Feb. 10 (will continue past midninght), Tuesday, Feb. 19, and Sunday, March 3.
The Berlin Police Department has been authorized to use the upper levels of the BHS building for “tactical police response to school emergencies" training.
Again, please know that the planned police presence is just for training. Berlin Public Schools and the Berlin Police Department share a strong partnership in holding the safety of students, staff, and visitors as our utmost priority.
