Berlin Police: Brother and Sister Charged in Fight, Three Arrested on DUI

The following arrest information was provided by the Berlin Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A brother and sister are facing charges after a fight at their parents home and three others are facing DUI charges in an active past week for Berlin police. Take a look back at the latest police blotter.

The Berlin Police Department reported the following arrests:

Jan. 1

Carmen Cruz, 49, of 26 Wells Terrace in Meriden, was charged with failure to have headlights/tail lamps lit, Jan. 1.

Chettra Heng, 27, of 74 Child's Road in East Hampton, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana and failure to maintain proper lane, Jan. 1.

Jan. 2

Ismael Medina-Delgado, 41, of 47 Hubbard St. in Meriden, was charged with violation of probation, interfering with police, foruth-degree larceny, first-degree criminal mischief, manufacturing burglary tools and two counts of third-degree burglary, Jan. 2.

Gabriel Kelly, 25, of 38 Horton Ave. in Meriden, was charged with second-degree threatening, first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree breach of peace and reckless driving, Jan. 2.

Jan. 3

Jeffrey J. Sargais, 31, of 860 Kensington Road in Berlin, was charged with disorderly conduct, Jan. 3.

Meghan E. Haggerty, 25, of 860 Kensington Road in Berlin, was charged with disorderly conduct, Jan. 3.

Jan. 4

Daniel Lagueux, 21, of 110 Levesque Ave. in West Hartford, was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal mischief, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs/and or alcohol and reckless driving, Jan. 4.

Jan. 5

Brett Waller, 49, of 125 Stoddard Drive in Meriden, was charged with violating conditions of release, possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, Jan. 5.
