Berlin Police Blotter: Threatening Calls Land Deming Road Man in Jail

The following arrest information was provided by the Berlin Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Deming Road resident is facing charges after police said he left threatening and violent messages on the cell phone of an area resident late last week.

Francesco Teti was taken into custody, according to a police report, after the victim approached officers with the voice mail recorded on her cell phone. The message gave police reason to make an arrest.

The Berlin Police Department reported the following arrests:

Oct. 16

Sheralyn Bidwell, 25, of 280 Fairview Drive in Berlin, was charged with disorderly conduct by intimidation, Oct. 16.

Jacy Melendez, 35, of 188 Fairview Drive in Berlin, was charged with disorderly conduct by intimidation, Oct. 16.

Oct. 18

Francesco Teti, 68, of 292 Deming Road in Berlin, was charged with second-degree threatening and second-degree harassment, Oct. 18.
