Berlin Police Blotter: Larcenies, DUIs and Domestic Cases

The following arrest information was provided by the Berlin Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

In a busy couple weeks for Berlin police, officers reported a wide variety of thefts that included recovering a stolen vehicle and a warrant being served in a credit theft case. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Berlin Police Department reported the following arrests:

Aug. 9

Robert J. Bernardi, 48, of 290 Brittany Farms Road in New Britain, was charged with driving under the influence and speeding, Aug. 9.

Joseph Hogerheide, 21, of 18 Lake Drive in Oxford, was charged with third-degree burglary, Aug. 9.

Jesse Aaron Brown, 22, of 1 George St. in Prospect, was charged with third-degree burglary, Aug. 9.

Francisco Santana, 40, of 116 Brook St. in Hartford, was charged with interfering with an officer, operating a motor vehicle without a license, failure to display license plates, failure to insure motor vehicle, improper use of license or registration and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, Aug. 9.

Aug. 10

Bianca Aimee Luciano, 24, of 85 Streamside Lane in New Britain, was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree burglary, Aug. 10.

John Godfrey, 58, of 33 Whiting St. in New Britain, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, Aug. 10.

Aug. 11

Richard Fitzsimons, 49, of 60 Emmett St. in Bristol, was charged with second-degree harassment, Aug. 11.

Aug. 14

Jose Lopez, 41, of 20 Benson St. in New Britain, was charged with driving under the influence, refusal to submit to a chemical test, making a restricted turn, failure to maintain proper lane, traveling too slow and failure to give name or license information, Aug. 14.

Joseph Dupree Norris, 39, of 86 Vine St. in New Britain, was charged with third-degree larceny, operating a motor vehicle without a license and failure to have headlights lit, Aug. 14.

Aug. 15

Joseph Dupree Norris, 39, of 86 Vine St. in New Britain, was charged with first-degree failure to appear, Aug. 15.

Ryan Rampone, 20, of 20 Saw Mill Drive in Berlin, was charged with minor in possession of alcohol, Aug. 15.

Aug. 16

Joseph Testa, 21, of 59 Howard Ave. in Southington, was charged with third-degree larceny, Aug. 16.

John Root, 36, of 101 South St. in Cromwell, was charged with second-degree identity theft, illegal use of a credit card, credit card theft and fifth-degree larceny, Aug. 16.

Aug. 18

Diana Rose, 36, of 601 Worthington Ridge Road in Berlin, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, third-degree criminal mischief and risk of injury to a minor, Aug. 18.

James F. Rose, 49, of 601 Worthington Ridge Road in Berlin, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, Aug. 18.
