Berlin Police Blotter: Drug Arrests, DUIs, Landlord Issues and More

The following arrest information was provided by the Berlin Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

In a busy log that includes drug arrests, landlord and tenant disputes, DUI charges and more, police reported a variety of activity. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Berlin Police Department reported the following arrests:

Oct. 10

Jay Echevarria, 20, of 152 Oak St. in New Britain, was charged with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, failure to properly insure motor vehicle, improper use of registration and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, Oct. 10.

Oct. 11

Jenna L. Damico, 20, of 67 Westwood Lane in Middletown, was charged with failure to obey stop sign, operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content over the legal limit for a person under 21 and refusal to submit to a chemical test, Oct. 11.

Frederick Murphy, 53, of 286 High Road in Berlin, was charged with second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct, Oct. 11.

Michael Daniel Arcari, 18, of 47 Churchill Way in Newington, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content over the legal limit for a person under 21, refusal to submit to a chemical test, disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal mischief and simple trespassing, Oct. 11.

Oct. 14

Brian C. Mintich, 18, of 26 Red Barn St. in Berlin, was charged with second-degree criminal mischief, risk of injury to a minor, illegal possession of a hallucinogenic substance, possession of a hallucinogenic substance near a school and possession of drug paraphernalia, Oct. 14.
