Berlin Police Blotter: Domestics, DUIs and Drugs

A busy few days for Berlin officers led to multiple arrests, including three in domestic-related charges and two more on DUI charges. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Berlin Police Department reported the following arrests:


Aug. 29

John Linnick, 49, of 31 David Drive in Berlin, was charged with two counts of second-degree failure to appear, Aug. 29.

Lisa Hrenko, 39, of 87 Vivian Drive in Berlin, was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct through intimidation, Aug. 29.

Aug. 30

Barbara L. Rossignol, 48, of 6 Johnson Ave. in Meriden, was charged with failure to maintain proper lane and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, Aug. 30.

Edward J. Mayer, 43, of 10 Day Drive in Berlin, was charged with second-degree harassment (non-threatening), Aug. 30.

Aug. 31

Telesforo Cardoso, 48, of 352 Clinton St. in New Britain, was charged with failure to drive in proper lane and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, Aug. 31.

Mohammad Sameen Nizami, 19, of 109 Fieldstone Crossing in Berlin, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct, Aug. 31.

Sept. 1

Slawomir Dobrowski, 49, of 187 Tree Hill Road in Berlin, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, Sept. 1.

Sept. 2

Betsy Kwoczala, 43, of 30 Seymour Road in Terryville, was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, sixth-degree larceny, misrepresenting a controlled substance and keeping a narcotic substance in a container other than originally provided, Sept. 2.
