Berlin Police Blotter: Berlin Man Charged After Police Chase

The following arrest information was provided by the Berlin Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Fairview Drive man is facing charges after a series of incidents, including an accident, that occurred Tuesday afternoon before police were finally able to take him into custody in the Worthington Ridge area.

Police said Narendrakumar Patel, 46, of Berlin, was taken into custody after leading police on a chase through the Worthington Ridge/Berlin Turnpike area of town.

That was just one of several arrests reported Wednesday, however. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Berlin Police Department reported the following arrests:

Dec. 5

James Michael Marchetti, 19, of 20 Luis Road in Berlin, was charged with driving under the influence, failure to maintain proper lane and evading responsibility in an accident, Dec. 5.

Dec. 10

Arnaldo Sanchez, 32, of 76 Belden St. in Berlin, was charged with third-degree larceny though wire fraud, Dec. 10.

Narendrakumar Patel, 46, of 225 Fairview Drive in Berlin, was charged with failure to maintain proper lane and evading responsibility in an accident, Dec. 10 (2:31 p.m.).

Narendrakumar Patel, 46, of 225 Fairview Drive in Berlin, was charged with driving the wrong way on a divided highway and reckless driving, Dec. 10 (2:46 p.m.).

Narendrakumar Patel, 46, of 225 Fairview Drive in Berlin, was charged with traveling too fast for conditions, speeding in a work zone, failure to maintain proper lane and engaging police in pursuit, Dec. 10 (3:13 p.m.).
