Berlin, Meriden PD Combine For Prostitution Sting

On September 28, 2011 the Berlin Police Department with the assistance of the Meriden Police Department and the FBI conducted a reverse sting operation to apprehend individuals attempting to patronize prostitutes along the Berlin Turnpike.  As a result of this operation, the Department made the following five (5) arrests:

Anthony L. Brewer, Age 46, of 218 Laurel Street, Hartford, CT, charged with Patronizing a Prostitute from a Motor Vehicle C.G.S. 53a-83a

Giuseppe Morello, Age 66, of 330 Old Mill Road, Middletown, CT, charged with Patronizing a Prostitute from a Motor Vehicle C.G.S. 53a-83a

Maurice A. Bonner, Age 55, of 64 Prentice Street, Plainville, CT, charged with Patronizing a Prostitute from a Motor Vehicle C.G.S. 53a-83a, Illegal Possession of a Narcotic Substance C.G.S. 21a-279(a)(c)p, Operating an Unregistered MV C.G.S. 14-12(a)

David M. Jagrosse, Age 41, of 21 Haller Avenue, Wallingford, CT, charged with Patronizing a Prostitute from a Motor Vehicle C.G.S. 53a-83a, Operating an Unregistered MV C.G.S. 14-12(a), Improper Use of a Marker Plate C.G.S. 14-147(b)

Richard J. Kareta, Age 57, of 32 Nathanial Way, Belchertown, CT, charged with Patronizing a Prostitute from a Motor Vehicle C.G.S. 53a-83a

Bonner was release on a $10,000.00 non-surety bond, all others were released on a $5,000 non-surety bond with court date 10/12/11 in New Britain Superior Court.
