Berlin Police report an attempted burglary at Mickey Finn's, 874 Berlin Turnpike, between Friday night and Saturday morning.
The person tried to remove the hinges from the door and cut off power to the building.
According to Mickey Finn's, the person tried to get the door off the hinges and when he thought he cut the power, he did not. Instead of cutting off the power to the alarm system, the power chord to the air conditioning was cut.

The person never made it to the store because of a steel gate inside the store. The alarm also was tripped and Berlin Police responded very quickly.
There was also a burglary on the 700 block of Worthington Ridge on Friday night.
