Parents, Schools Promote Student Achievements Online

The greatest part of working at Patch is watching our communities use our websites to share all the incredible things that are happening every day. One of my favorite ways Patch helps local folks is by providing a space to promote the achievements of our youngest residents.

In several Patch communities, parents and educators are using Patch to promote the achievements of students and to provide support to the schools.

In Farmington, the Union School maintains a Patch blog to keep parents in the loop about school events, important town meetings, and the achievements of their students.

In Avon, a Patch blogger is shining the spotlight on the Avon High School Track team as they make their way through the spring season. And the photos are incredible!

The Squadron Line School Parent Teacher Association is using Patch to drum up community support for a new playground.
