Of all the shows that make me want to punch someone, this has made it to the top of my list.
Major Crimes, 9 p.m., TNT
Is it me, or is this not good? And why is it not good, because it has most of our favorites from The Closer? The introduction of the district attorneys each week has made it very Law-and-Order-y and not in a good way. It is … dare I say it … dull. And The Closer was never dull. In fact, The Closer at its best made me clutch the dog in anticipation of what might happen next.
Perception, 10 p.m., TNT
Bad acting, bad writing, ridiculous crimes – none of it seems to matter to me! I watch this faithfully every week. I enjoy Erik McCormack having fun with this character. I was thrilled when I read that TNT has given it a second season.
