Am I the only one who is suspicious about the $15 million of cost overruns to the Berlin High School renovations, bringing its total expected cost back up to $85 million, from the $70 million authorized after the referendum in 2011 rejected the original proposal of $83 million? First $83 million proposed, and rejected by referendum; then $70 million authorized by Town; and now only through Phase I of the project, the costs are back up to the original proposal, $85 million. Do you really believe this is mere coincidence?!
