(West Hartford) – Two Kensington residents have been named AP Scholars by the College Board, among 42 students from Northwest Catholic High School to receive the honor. Sarah Dottor ’13 was named an AP Scholar with Honor, while Tyler Stites ’13 was named an AP Scholar with Distinction.
To be designated an AP Scholar with Honor, students must earn an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and a score of 3 or higher on four or more of the exams. AP Scholars with Distinction must earn an average score of 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and a score of 3 or higher on five or more of the tests.
Since 1961, Northwest Catholic’s mission has been to educate the whole person: mind, body, spirit, and soul.
