The golf season at Timberlin Golf Club is officially in full swing! There are many new changes at Timberlin this season including myself. I am the new PGA Head Golf Professional and words cannot describe how excited I am to now be a part of the Timberlin family. Service is the priority at Timberlin this season and I am confident that I have put together a staff that will aim to please!
One of the new features we will offer at Timberlin is the ability to book tee times online. If you go to our new website, www.timberlingolf.com, you will see a link on the homepage to book tee times online.
We also have a new Assistant Golf Professional. His name is Jacob Halligan and he is a level 1 PGA Apprentice. He came all the way from Florida to join our team at Timberlin and I am very fortunate to have him as my right hand man. He has a vast knowledge of the golf swing and is a very accomplished player. I would like to congratulate him on winning his first tournament in CT. He fired a 67 in the Norwich Kick-Off Pro-Am and beat some of the best players in the CT Section PGA. Congrats Jake!

A congratulations also goes out to Bill Somers and Marsha Latina as they all started they year out right by making holes-in-one! Must be lucky hole #7. Bill aced #7 on April 11 with a 7-iron from 155 yards and Marsha dunked it on May 5th with a 5-iron from 138 yards. Congrats!
