Terrible Lizzards at the Lutz Children's Museum Look at some of the prehistoric animals that were roaming the earth long before humans arrived. Become a junior paleontologist as we use some real fossils to attempt to identify as much as we can about the animals that may have formed them.

Dino DNA at the Lutz Children's Museum. Dinosaurs had DNA that held information about their genetic makeup. We will discuss whether we think this would be possible and will use several examples of real dinosaurs from specific time periods to help our decision.

What's Your Favorite Dinosaur? at the Lutz Children's Museum. Let’s travel back to the 19th Century, and find out what life was like for children on the farm! We’ll learn about their lives, their pets, and their responsibilities. Then we’ll test our knowledge by doing some “farm life” activities!

Movie Matinee at the Hartford Library - Albany Branch. Come watch a movie and enjoy a snack with your family at the Albany Branch Library in Hartford.

Weekend Public Skate at International Skating Center of Connecticut. ISCC is pleased to offer ice times during the weekend for public skating. All are welcome to come and skate at our full-service facility! Please check to verify session times as we may change or adjust session for special arena events. Thank You!

Shark Dive Observation at the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk. The Maritime Aquarium's dive team spends quality time with the sand tiger sharks, lemon shark and other creatures. Thanks to a cool communication link, you can even talk with the divers while they're in the exhibit with the sharks!

Walk CT Family Ramble: Cheney Railroad Trail in Manchester. Join WalkCT for an easy, but bumpy, walk along this former railroad! We will hike along the 1-mile portion owned by the Manchester Land Conservation Trust and, depending on the weather, on to Center Springs Park. Participating kids get a keepsake!

Winterfest Hartford Carousel Rides in Bushnell Park. If you thought the carousel’s lights and beautifully painted horses were breathtaking before, just imagine how great they look beside the fluffy white snow and Winterfest decorations. Bring your kids down to Bushnell Park for some winter fun!

Coventry WinterFresh Farmers' Market at Coventry High School. Running from November 24 through the end of February, our WinterFresh Market makes it easier to eat seasonally and locally in the depths of winter! Maurice Sendak Exhibit at the New Britain Museum of American Art. To celebrate the 50th Birthday of Maurice Sendak's beloved Where the Wild Things Are, the New Britain Museum of American Art has launched a special exhibit of his work! Your kids will get chills seeing original pieces and fantastical creatures.

Chocolate Factory Experience Tour of Fascia's Chocolates! Come to Fascia's Chocolates factory for a tour you won't forget! Check out the manufacturing process and learn how chocolate is made! Of course, you'll sample chocolate and even make your OWN chocolate bar! RESERVATIONS RECOMMENDED.

Open Play For Kids Aged 2 - 6 at Jump!Zone in Canton! Your youngest kids can have fun safely at this special Open Play at Jump!Zone just for them! They'll have a ton of fun and you'll worry less knowing that big kids aren't allowed!
