The Pistol Creek Summer XC Racing Series

The McGee Middle School and Berlin High School cross country

team coaches and the Berlin Recreation Dept. will co- sponsor a series of cross

country races at Pistol Creek this summer.  The series will consist of three races to be held on the
evenings of Wednesday, July 10th, 17th and 24th.  The races are free and open to Berlin
residents only.  Boys and girls
ages 12 and under will race for one mile beginning at 6 pm.  Boys and girls ages 13-high school
seniors will race for 2.2 miles and begin at 6:30.  Post high school runners may participate in the 2.2 mile run
as a fun run participant. 





Participants
will receive times and ribbons each race, at the end of the racing series, cumulative
times will determine the participants overall place.  You must participate in all three races to be eligible for
medals.

If
interested, runners should plan on gathering in the Pistol Creek parking lot

before the race.  The registration

form can be found at the Town of Berlin web site under the Recreation Dept.  Forms will be available on site as

well.
