: I have served 6 years on the Town Council.  Prior to that I served 2 years on the Board of Education.

Why did you run for office?

I am running to give back to the community I love. I want to serve and continue the work we have done on infrastructure improvements, economic development, and capital projects to meet the needs of all our citizens.

If elected, what would be your primary areas of focus?
My primary focus will be to work in a fiscally responsible manner to build a strong future for our community through supporting our local businesses, improving our infrastructure and strengthening our schools.

What do you feel is the biggest issue facing Berlin today?

The biggest issue facing Berlin is balancing the needs of our community while acting in a fiscally responsible manner. It is important to continue the progress we have made on our infrastructure, economic development policies and our schools. The decisions we make must be done in a thoughtful and responsible way to provide a great quality of life for all citizens.

What skills do you have that you could bring to the community?

Having served on the Council for the last six years, gives me knowledge of current projects, such as the high school renovation and new police station construction.  This knowledge will be vital to ensure a successful completion. Additionally, I have served on the Plan of Conservation and Development Committee which ensures that Berlin’s ten year plan is always considered when making Council decisions.
