Girls U9 Soccer Teams Wins First Game They Have Ever Played
Great start for the new BYSA team.
The U9 Girls Blitz first travel team played its first game ever on Saturday.
The Blitz came up with a 3-0 win over Wethersfield.
U11 Girls: Two wins for the Boltz teams
Berlin Boltz Red Team beat West Hartford Galaxy A team, 5-1, at McGee Middle School.
West Hartford led 1-0 at halftime but Berlin got two goals from Amy Kuckel and one each from Niyanna Allen, Rebecca Mayer and Lexi Martino.
The Berlin Boltz White team scored a great come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Simsbury with a Marta Mazurek goal coming with 30 seconds left in the game.
Berlin trailed 1-0 at the break but tied the game on a goal by Demry Gdovin. Mazurek scored late for the win.
