Union Savings Bank welcomes Tom Cugno as vice president of project management

Berlin resident takes on newly-created position.

 

Union Savings Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Tom Cugno as vice president of project management, a newly-created position.

In this role, Cugno is responsible for developing and maintaining Union Savings Bank’s overall project management practices. He oversees the direction, execution and completion of specific projects while keeping them aligned with the bank’s strategic goals.

“As the bank continues to grow its breadth of services and expand into more technologically sophisticated delivery channels, we saw a significant need for this new position,” said Union Savings Bank President and CEO Jay Lent. “In just a few weeks, Tom has already had a noted effect in helping various teams move projects along that will improve the service we provide to our customers.”

Before joining Union Savings Bank, Cugno served as a consultant in project management and was director of information systems at NewAlliance Bank. Previously, he served as vice president of information systems at Fiserv.
Cugno resides in Berlin with his wife Peggy, three children and golden retriever Clyde.
