Kohl's Begins Hiring Process

Berlin store looking to hire 125 employees at Hiring Fair.

Kohl’s Department Stores opens three new stores in Connecticut in September, and the company is holding job fairs Saturday, August 4 through Wednesday, August 8 to fill approximately 125 positions per store for the Berlin, New Milford and Killingly locations.

Kohl’s, which has been recognized by Forbes as the most reputable department store, is looking for associates to deliver on Kohl’s customer promise to “expect great things.” Applicants should visit www.kohlscareers.com or call (877) 639-5645 to schedule an interview and to obtain additional information regarding times and locations.

"We are happy Kohl's is starting its hiring process," Berlin Economic Development Director Jim Mahoney said. "We are looking forward to having Kohl's help in the rejuvenation of Brickyard Center. We anticipate more new businesses will follow."

For new stores, Kohl’s needs register operators, department associates, customer service associates, early a.m. freight unloaders and evening ad set associates. Kohl’s associates receive competitive compensation, great benefits and immediate merchandise discounts.

"With Home Depot and Kohl's now on the north section of the Turnpike we are hoping to draw some of the development from Newington south. We are hoping with these anchor stores that it will help attract more development."
