'Chick Day' Set For Saturday

Many farm animals will be available for sale.

A.S. Labieniec, Inc. will be hosting Chick Day on Saturday, April 16.

Several different types of farm animals will be available at the Farmington Avenue store on Saturday, so despite the name, the event involves much more than just chicks.

“We’ve kind of turned our chick day into farm day, but everyone knows it as chick day so we never changed the name,” said Anna Quinn, Manager of Labieniec’s. “We’ll have farm animals here for sale and for kids to play with. We usually have a calf that we feed with a bottle. We’ll also have experts on dogs and cats to talk to those pet owners,” said Quinn.
