Best Restaurants In The State Are Named By Connecticut Magazine

Hawthorne Inn voted to have one of the best prime ribs in Connecticut. Sans Souci on Berlin Turnpike in Meriden, owned by Berlin natives Rick Tompkins and Greg Karsky also praised.

 

Local restaurants Hawthorne Inn and Sans Souci were named top restaurants in the Connecticut Magazine Experts' Picks, 2013.

Both restaurants are on the Berlin Turnpike. Hawthorne Inn is in Berlin while Sans Souci is just over the line in Meriden and owened by Rick Tompkins and Greg Karsky of Berlin.

The Hawthorne was picked in the "Best Prime Rib" category while Sans Souci was an honorable mention in the same category. Sans Souci was also picked in the "Best Bargains" category.
