Arby's Restaurant in Berlin Closes

The fast-food sandwich place closed on April 6 due to a decline in business in the area, the restaurant told Berlin Patch.

The Arby's restaurant on 1241 Farmington Ave. has officially closed after a decline of business in the area, the company said in a statement.

The employees at the fast food restaurant were offered an opportunity to transfer to nearby Arby's locations, said Jason C. Rollins, communications and public relations manager for Arby's.

Berlin Patch reached out to Arby's on Friday and Rollins released this following statement to us Monday morning:

“The Berlin Arby’s restaurant closed on April 6. We made the difficult decision to close based on the decline of business in the area. We have offered our employees the opportunity to transfer to our nearby Arby's locations. We love the community and encourage our loyal customers to visit the neighboring Newington Arby’s restaurant located at 3206 Berlin Turnpike; the Plantsville Arby’s located at 867 Meriden Waterbury Turnpike; and the Bristol Arby’s at 1379 Farmington Avenue.”
