Berlin VNA passes State Survey

The Berlin VNA has been in existence since 1926. We are state licensed, Medicare certified and accredited by the Joint Commission.

In the past two months we have had all three surveys and we were found to be deficiency free. Each survey involves an onsite evaluation of policies, procedures and documentation of direct patient care. All areas of our services were evaluated as we provide not only skilled nursing services but also physical therapy, medical social work, home health aides, and light homemaking. We serve Berlin, Kensington, Cromwell, Newington and New Britain.

We accept all insurance payors and we have been awarded grant money under Marjorie Moore to provide certain services to eligible town residents.

We offer weekly blood pressure screening at the Senior Center. We provide flu vaccine clinics to the community, town employees, home bound residents and several town manufacturing companies.

This spring the Berlin VNA will be converting to a new medical software company that will make us even more efficient.

We have a dedicated and trustworthy staff who take pride in giving personalized care.
