PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Berlin Businesses Agree to Display Art
Around Town

            Soon
student artwork will be springing up all over Berlin.  A new project brings together the efforts and
vision of Berlin Public Schools, the Board of Education, small business owners,
and the art teachers at all 5 schools.
Spearheaded by school board member Timothy Oakes, the project’s goal is
to highlight the artistic talents of students from the community.  The business owners provide a venue for the
public to view the art giving a name to the project Art Around Town.  The artwork will be rotated throughout the
year.  The public is invited to stop by
at the following participating businesses: Sharon Elizabeth’s Floral Designs, Kensington
Bird and Animal Hospital, Powerhouse Gym, Suburban Bike,  Kensington Garden Center, Town Hall,
Berlin-Peck Library, Bill’s Pizza, and Uncle D’s Diner.
