FOLKLORE & FAIRYTALES is a celebration of contemporary and classical ballet. Shows at 2:00pm and 7:30pm at St Joseph College's Carol Autorino Center for the Arts and Humanities on JUNE 4, 2011.
Premiering GRIMM'S FAIRYTALES a contemporary ballet by Carolyn Paine based on the classic fairytales. Featuring artists from CONNetic Dance Company.
Also being performed are excerpts from the classical ballet DON QUIXOTE with guest artists from NYC's Exit 12 Dance Company.
The DIANA & ACTEON pas de deux will be performed by guest artists from NYC's Ellison Ballet.
SEASONS SUITE will also be performed. Choreography by Tracy Dorman, Kate Sulikowski, and Roman Baca.
M-THEORY:BEYOND STRING THEORY will also be performed. Choreography by Ruth Vesenka Lewis.
Students from Ballet Theatre Company will perform in all pieces.
