Stuffing to Make A Difference

Residents come together to Stuff a Cruiser.

On Saturday December 3, the Berlin Police Department held a “Stuff a Cruiser” food drive at Roger’s Market located at 45 Chamberlain Highway in Kensington.

Youth Detective Brian Dumais, Officer Barry Hertzler and Officer David Cruickshank were assisted by members of Berlin Upbeat and the South Kensington Volunteer Fire Department.

Through the generous donations they were able to fill the back of a Ford Expedition DARE truck and half of the Traffic van. An additional $258.00 in cash was also donated. The donations were turned over to the Berlin Food Pantry to be distributed to needy families.

Special thanks to Roger’s Market for sponsoring this food drive and to all the volunteers and especially the donors who made it possible.
