Plenty Of Sports Fun For Children In The Spring

But time is running out to register.

There are several sporting options for children in town to explore this spring but time is running out to sign up for them.

Baseball, girls softball: If you like baseball or softball, the Berlin Little League sponsors baseball and softball for children from six-years-old and up. Boys and girls can sign up online at www.berlin-littleleague.com. Coaches are also needed at various levels of the league. When registering online you will need a credit card to finish your registration. The fee is $90 with a limit per family.

Soccer: If you get a kick out of soccer, the Berlin Youth Soccer Association (BYSA) offers programs from mini-kickers to senior boys and girls. there are also travel teams who have played in the fall as a team and will play in the spring. Those travel players still must sign up on the BYSA website,  www.bysa.org. The deadline for signing up is March 12 and there will be a late fee after that.
