"We hope to have a truck at each location in hopes of filling both before the night is over," Theresa Lee said. "I don't think people are that aware that summer is an especially important time for donating as much as the holidays, if not more, because children are home more and families are having to provide three meals a day whereas if the children were in school, breakfast and lunch maybe provided for them.

"Times are definitely tough and the need is great. Foundation volunteers will be at all entrances handing out suggested non perishable food item lists that are needed to help re-stock the Food Bank."

Suggested donations consist of pasta, sauces, rice, canned fruit and vegetables, cereals, juices boxes, peanut butter, jelly, fluff, soups, tuna fish, crackers, cookies, baking mixes, sugar, flour, spices, macaroni and cheese, jello, pudding, anything non perishable.

"Together, I know, we can make a difference," Theresa added. "Obviously Ryan's birthday was always a special day so we wanted to do something to help the town. We hope this will be a big success."
