Five-year-old Berlin resident Leah is being given her wish of becoming a princess for a day, but first local officials and the Make-A-Wish Foundation need your help.

The following is a press release sent for publication. It is available on the Berlin Police Department Facebook page.

On Saturday, Jan. 11, at 9:15 a.m., the Make-A-Wish in conjunction with the town of Berlin  Fire Departments, Berlin Police Department, and many other organizations will be escorting five-year-old "Princess Leah" from her house to Creations Hair Salon on Webster Square Rd.

"Princess Leah" will be making her journey to Creations Hair Salon by horse and carriage which will be escorted by Berlin police and the town's four fire departments.

We are reaching out to you to make Leah's journey extra special by lining Webster Square Road between Frontage Road and the Route 9 overpass (Powerhouse Gym). Family, friends and the public are encourage to create signs and hold them up as she passes by.

Some examples for signs are: We Love You Leah, Welcome Princess Leah, Enjoy Disney World, etc. We are looking for all positive sayings to help make this day special and remembering for a young girl dreaming of being a Princess. We are anticipating arriving at this location at approximately 9:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
