Berlin Patch Blogger Honors National Nurses Week with a Personal Story

Because at the end of the day it is not what ends up in your bank account that matters, it is what you have deposited in your spiritual account that speaks volumes.

National Nurses Week is celebrated annually from May 6-May 12 to honor those involved in the nursing profession. The week starts off on May 6, National Nurses Day and runs through May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing.

Patch blogger Karen Rettich of Berlin shares her personal experience as a nurse and the lessons she learned, some by difficult paths, on what it truly means to embody the nursing profession. Read her poignant story here.
