Berlin Lions To Host First Annual Craft Beer Festival Saturday

Event will be held at Fairgrounds and include a unique sampling of beers.

 

The Berlin Lions Club has held two very successful Wine Tasting events at the Berlin Fairgrounds. The Lions are exanding their offerings by having the Berlin Lions Charities host its First Annual Craft Beer Festival on Saturday, Oct. 13.

"We will have 10 Craft Brewers offering a variety of unique selections to sample throughout this fun filed evening," said Lion Ron Bosco.

The Craft Brew line up is provided by ROGO Distributors and will include, Harpoon Brewery, Otter Creek, Wolvare’s Certified Organic Ales, Pyramid Brewery, Batch 19 Pre-Prohibition Style Lager, Leinenkugel Brewing, Blue Moon, Beaver Beer, Saranac and Henry Weinhards.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with the event ending at 10 p.m. Food will be offered for purchase and live entertainment will be provided throughout the evening.

The ticket price is $20 in advance and $25 at the door which includes beer samplings throughout the event.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at Berlin Spirits on 118 Main St., Roger's Marketplace or through any Berlin Lion member. 

"All proceeds from this event will be used to support the continued giving of Berlin Lions Charities," Bosco added.
