'Talk Like a Pirate,' Understanding Your Credit and Cancer Alliance

Good morning from Berlin Patch! Today is Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013.

1. Today is "International Talk Like a Pirate Day" and Berlin-Peck Memorial Library is celebrating by inviting residents to bring their children in to decorate their own pirate chest. Stop in during the afternoon or evening for some fun.

2. Also at the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library Wednesday, starting at 6:30 p.m., is the program "Understanding Your Credit Report." Learn how to obtain your credit report, how to read it, how to dispute errors and how to protect yourself from Identity Theft. For more, click the link provided.

3. The Police Commission will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the Berlin Police Department Conference Room.
