Artistic Displays, 9-11-2001 and a False Hero

Five things to help you plan your day on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013.

Good morning from Berlin Patch! Today is Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013.

1. Today marks the 12th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attack on the World Trade Center, the fallen flight in Pennsylvania and the Pentagon crash. There will be a moment of silence observed across the state this morning in memory of those lost.

2. The Berlin Faculty Art Show continues this week at Berlin-Peck Memorial Library. Art is on display - take a ride or walk and check it out!

3. Speaking of the library and books, the Senior Center Book Club picks back up today with a discussion on 'The Wildwater Walking Club' by Claire Cook.

4. On the government side, the town's Housing Authority will meet today at 5 p.m., the POCD Committee meets at 6:30 p.m. and the Library Board meets at 7 p.m. For more, click the link provided.
