Berlin hits six home runs in the win.

Berlin 12-year-old All-Stars beat Ed Walsh Little League 11-1 in five innings on Saturday at Southington West’ Rec Park after a six-run explosion in the fifth inning.

Berlin hit six home runs in the win. Home runs for Berlin came when Jake Loiselle homered in the second inning, Nick Naples homered in the third inning, Joe Konowski homered in the second and fourth innings, Vin Biscoglio homered in the fifth inning, and Jack Lynch homered in the fifth inning.

Konowski rocked Ed Walsh Little League with two home runs. Konowski went 2-for-3 in the game with two RBIs and two runs scored. Konowski homered in the second and fourth innings.

Berlin hammered Ed Walsh Little League pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for nine hits, eight RBIs and nine runs scored.

Brendan Ebert kept the ball around the plate, throwing strikes on 47 of his 67 pitches. Ebert collected seven strikeouts and walked none for Berlin.
