Former Berlin High School pitcher Sean Sylvester is enjoying a solid year as a sophomore pitcher for the Post University baseball team.
Despite his 0-2 record, Sylvester has a sparkling 2.51 ERA, second on the team and has appeared in a team-high 11 games, all in relief. In over 16 innings pitched, he has allowed just 11 hits, struck out eight and walked one. Opposing batters are hitting a paltry .217 against the 6-foot-3, 215-pound righthander.
