Children greatly benefit from a lovable teddy bear distraction to alleviate their fear and apprehension during times of crisis when the police are called to return control and safety to their lives. These teddy bears, which are theirs to keep, are given to any child that officers believe would benefit from the calming affect that the teddy bears provide.

Some past instances that where the teddy bears have helped include children who were lost, involved in car crashes, family violence incidents and medical emergencies.

The Tommy Moose donation will help ease the emotional trauma that children may experience when dealing with those situations in their lives that require police involvement.
